In Mosul, the Ecrans de la Paix supports a literary café, the Book Forum, opened by two young Mosuliotes shortly after the departure of Daesh in December 2017. They have sworn to fight against terror and obscurantism through culture and openness. The Ecrans de la Paix provided a video projector and hundreds of films and books for all audiences in classical Arabic or with subtitles.
